FAMILY, PORTRAIT, WEDDING AND EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

I actually approached Samina about taking her portrait whilst I was photographing the Slough Business Awards ceremony. I watched intently as she stood onstage to receive her award and spoke of her fight with cancer and her dedication to raising funds and awareness to take the battle further into the Asian community. Even though we decided that some portraits could be a help to publicise her campaign, it became very obvious early on that her spirit and joy for life was always going to shine through.

A few of these portraits are more about her determination than showing her zest for life but her spirit shines through them all. Thank you Samina for giving me this opportunity to see the human spirit in full flow.
